Fit notes

Measured on two different bodies, and both sets of figures published

The commonest reason a garment goes back is that it did not fit the way the photograph suggested. So every piece is tried on by at least two people whose measurements differ materially, and both records are printed on the page: height, bust, waist, hip, the size worn, and a verdict on five points of the garment.

Verdicts come from a closed set of three — close, true to measure, relaxed — so a note can only ever describe the garment. Skirts and dresses carry the hem drop measured while seated. Tops and outerwear carry the overhead reach in degrees.

Pricing

We do not run a permanent sale

A price here is not raised so it can be brought back down. There is no standing reduction area, no countdown, and no manufactured scarcity: where a page says a batch is nearly through, that figure is the batch minus what has been sold.

If a piece is ever reduced, the reference price and the basis for it are shown beside the new price. Without that basis, no struck-through price, no percentage and no saving is displayed at all — the site is built so it cannot be.
