How it is made
A double-breasted block with a storm flap, a back yoke and a belted waist. The lining is full so the seams do not print through the outer cloth.
Fit notes
This piece was tried on by 2 people whose measurements differ materially. Verdicts come from a fixed set of three, so a note can only describe how the garment sat, never the person wearing it.
| Recorded | Wearer C | Wearer D |
|---|---|---|
| Size worn | 40 | 36 |
| Height | 158 cm | 171 cm |
| Bust | 91 cm | 82 cm |
| Waist | 75 cm | 64 cm |
| Hip | 101 cm | 90 cm |
| Shoulder | Relaxed | Relaxed |
| Through the bust | Relaxed | Relaxed |
| Through the waist | Relaxed | Relaxed |
| Sleeve length | True to measure | Relaxed |
| Body length | True to measure | Relaxed |
| Overhead reach | 128 ° | 136 ° |
Close means the garment sat against the body at that point. True to measure means it matched the flat measurement. Relaxed means it stood away from the body. Hem drop when seated and overhead reach are measured, not estimated.
Measurements
Garment measured flat and doubled where relevant, in centimetres, EU sizing. Every figure carries a tolerance of plus or minus 1 cm, because cloth is cut in stacks and no two pieces are identical.

Cloth, care and origin
How this cloth behaves
- The cloth carries a durable water-repellent finish. Light rain beads and runs off for roughly the first fifteen minutes; sustained or heavy rain will soak through. The finish weakens with each clean and is not renewed by us.
- This coat is water-repellent, not water-resistant to any tested standard, and it is not a rain garment.
- Fibre composition
- 100% cotton. Lining: 100% viscose.
- Weight
- 310 g/m²
- Care
- Dry clean, solvent P. Do not wash. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Iron cool on the reverse.
- Designed in
- Paris 11e, France
- Made in
- Portugal
